Find Me The Cure For The Common Cold

I stayed home from work yesterday because I have a cold. My throat hurts and all the congestion in my head is making my brain hurt. It’s disgusting, really. In the morning I sat on my couch watching American Morning on CNN and they talked about how Obama is wearing a flag pin on his lapel. I can’t believe they’re still talking about that. Also, I can’t believe how much time is wasted on dumb shit like that while totally ignoring important topics like what makes candidates different. For example, why not discuss the issues and how each candidate voted? It would be great for people since it is highly unlikely that anyone is really doing any of the research themselves. I really don’t know why things are they way they are. It can’t just be about ratings, can it?

Btw, Governor Bill Richardson looks great with his beard. Maybe he would have intimidated the other Democratic nominees if he had been sporting it during the debates. Most likely, and unfortunately, I’m sure it would have been used against him. “Does Bill Richardson make you think ‘TERRORISM’?” Something along those lines could have been expected.

I don’t think I’ve ever distanced myself from politics like I have this past year and a half. It really has to do with what seems like the longest election ever. I can’t wait until it is done and over.
